Project brief
Oppida was commissioned to create a custom-built stylesheet for NIDA’s learning management system and to deliver a series of hands-on workshops to showcase the new stylesheet and its practical use. As part of the stylesheet development, Oppida was invited to design custom home pages to satisfy the needs of various divisions of NIDA.
Project challenge
One of the core challenges of this project was the short timeframes to meet for designing a custom stylesheet that addressed the needs of all NIDA divisions and met overall business goals.
Oppida’s customised solution
Oppida utilised design thinking methodology to achieve the highest quality outcomes for NIDA. To begin with, Oppida conducted a thorough consultation with key stakeholders across all divisions to gain complete clarity on business objectives and target audience needs. From there, Oppida created a prototype and continued to iterate. As a result, the custom editable course stylesheet significantly improved the learning experience. In addition, it enabled NIDA to execute frequent and efficient course updates across all divisions without needing HTML training.
Oppida ran a series of workshops to showcase the stylesheet benefits, supporting NIDA with a learning management system (LMS) transition and a speedy transition to the new stylesheet while educating NIDA staff on best practice learning design.
